Mr. Teh is a Vice President based in Singapore, with coverage responsibility for Southeast Asia. He was previously with TPG Capital’s China and US teams based in Hong Kong and San Francisco respectively. Prior to joining TPG in 2011, Mr. Teh served in various leadership positions in the Singapore Government. He was Head of the Air Force's Strategy Office and served in the Ministry of Defence's Future Systems Directorate. He also spent time in the Ministry of Trade & Industry as a Senior Assistant Director, overseeing tourism policy formulation and the evaluation and implementation of large-scale tourism projects such as the Singapore F1 Grand Prix and Marina Bay Cruise Centre. As the Ministry's F1 Team Leader from 2006-2008, he was involved in negotiating and securing Singapore’s F1 deal, and execution of the first race in 2008. Mr. Teh attained the military rank of Major and has logged over 500 flight hours, primarily in the F-16D Fighting Falcon.
