Wilson was a former Senior Advisor at Tennenbaum Capital Partners, a US-based private investment business, and has served as the Chief Executive Officer of multiple registered investment companies within the Tennenbaum Capital Group. Prior to joining Tennenbaum Capital Partners, Mr. Wilson was a senior partner with Latham & Watkins where he was Global Co-Chair of the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group and former chairman of both the National Litigation Department and the National Mergers and Acquisitions Litigation Practice Group. In addition to his roles at Burford and Tennenbaum Capital Partners, Mr. Wilson also serves as Chairman of International Wire Group, Inc., the largest bare copper and copper wire products manufacturer in the United States. He has a Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School and a JD from the University of Chicago Law School.
