Ian is a Partner & Managing Director, co-leading L Catterton Growth. He co-heads the team's technology investing efforts. Ian is also CEO of Highland Transcend Partners. Ian was previously Co-Head of Goldman Sachs Investment Partners (GSIP) Venture Capital & Growth Equity team. Some of Ian's investments include Cadre, CompareAsia, Foodpanda / DeliveryHero, Hubba, Omio (fka GoEuro), Pinterest, Plaid, ResearchGate, Ring, Rothy's, Shift, Spotify, thredUP, Uber and Zola. Prior to joining GSIP, Ian has helped build technology companies through his roles at both Bain Capital and The Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
