Mr. Chacartegui is involved in the evaluation and execution of potential Gores opportunities in Europe. Prior to joining Gores, Mr. Chacartegui worked as a Vice President at Providence Equity Partners, a private equity firm focused on media, communications and information investments, where he participated in the sourcing, execution and portfolio management of a number of investments. During this time, Mr. Chacartegui served on the Boards of Directors of Canal Digitaal, the leading provider of satellite television and radio in the Netherlands and Belgium, and Com Hem, the largest cable operator in Sweden. Prior to that, he was an Analyst at Morgan Stanley, where he executed a number of M&A transactions in the media & telecoms, business services, industrials and real estate industries. Mr. Chacartegui serves on the Board of Directors of the Hay Group. Mr. Chacartegui received a Master of Science in Business Administration from Deusto University.
