Ilhwan Kwon

Ilhwan (James) Kwon is Senior Investment Manager at Qualcomm Ventures responsible for investment activities in Korea. Before joining Qualcomm, he worked for McKinsey and Company’s Seoul office where he helped multi-national companies based in Seoul to formulate and execute strategies and M&A deals. Prior to McKinsey, he worked for Pantech, responsible for the U.S. sales operation. He also founded an on-line advertising company, RichMedia Interactive. Ilhwan holds MBA from INSEAD, MSc in electrical engineering from Seoul National University, and BS in both computer science and electrical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He currently manages and actively serves as a board observer for Qualcomm Ventures investments in Easy Works, IntelRA, Kiwiple and Pulsus Technologies.
