InnovateTech Ventures is a venture creation firm. They build high potential startups primarily based on patented technology developed at universities. In selected cases They provide consulting and management services to established tech companies seeking a path to exit. They believe that universities innovations hold untapped startup potential. But most universities don’t have access to a network that can bring together a business model, seed funding and an experienced management team. InnovateTech provides that access, transforming disruptive university innovations into high potential startups. InnovateTech operates the Economic Development Venture Creation (EDVC) Program which brings together university technologies, experienced entrepreneurs and funding to create high potential university spinout companies that support local economic development. They currently work with funds and private investors with an economic development mission in Eastern and Southern U.S.
