Technically minded angel investor with over 15 years of experience investing in technology companies and helping them succeed. Interested in innovative mission-oriented technology companies in Europe, with a particular focus on Agriculture, Waste Management, Wellbeing & Personal Health, and Deep Tech (Robotics, Materials, Novel Devices). Iyad was a Partner at Frog Capital from 2006 to 2017, a venture capital firm focussed on European growth stage technology companies. He led several successful investment cycles, was a member of the Frog Capital Ltd Board and Investment Committee, and represented Frog on several portfolio Boards. Iyad’s sector experience at Frog included Environmental Technology, Financial Technology and Marketing Technology. Iyad began his career as a Product Marketing Engineer with Advanced Micro Devices in California before moving into equity research at Quartz Capital in London. He then joined Kennet Partners to invest in early-to-growth stage European technology
