Jacqui Canney is the executive vice president of the Global People Division for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. She is responsible for managing, attracting and retaining the nation's largest private workforce. Jacqui joined Walmart in 2015 after more than 25 years of experience in global human resources from her time at Accenture, where she played a key role in leading the strategy and implementation of programs to attract talent. As managing director, Jacqui led a major workforce transformation to help strengthen the business’ capabilities and industry focus. Under her leadership, the HR team also fully integrated its acquisition, recruitment, reward and recognition and succession planning programs. At Walmart, Jacqui oversees compensation, recruiting, development and retention initiatives, as well as benefits for more than 2 million Walmart associates worldwide.
