James Hardy is the Chief Resiliency Officer at State Street. Previously, Mr. Hardy was chief operating officer (COO) of State Street Global Markets, the company’s investment research and trading business. In that role, he was responsible for the strategic alignment and execution of key operating functions across the division, including operations and technology. Mr. Hardy is a board member of Clarient, an industry utility focused on providing control, standardization and transparency during the client onboarding process. Mr. Hardy has more than 25 years of business and technology consulting and management experience within the financial services industry.
