Prior to joining The CID Group in 2004, James served 14 years as Executive Vice President, the No. 2 person in charge at China Venture Management - a wholly-owned subsidiary of the China Development Industrial Bank (CDIB) and the first venture capital company established in Taiwan - where he successfully led the team to invest in a number of the firm's most successful investments. From 1986-1990, he was employed as a Sales & Marketing Manager at Hewlett Packard, where he became well skilled in the art of sales. He is currently Chairman of an endowment fund for the Department of Chemical Engineering at National Tsing Hua University.
