James Trevathan

James (Jim) Trevathan is executive vice president and chief operating officer for Waste Management. Prior to becoming COO, Mr. Trevathan was executive vice president of growth, innovation and field support and charged with integrating companywide operations, sales and human resource initiatives to drive progress towards the company’s growth goals in 2011. Prior to that, Mr. Trevathan was the senior vice president of the Southern Group, served as senior vice president of the Eastern Group and he was senior vice president of sales and marketing for Waste Management. Prior to joining WM, Mr. Trevathan held sales and marketing positions with the Stauffer Chemical Company.
