Jamil Baz

About

Jamil joined GLG Partners in 2008 as Chief Investment Strategist. Prior to this, he was an Executive Vice-President with PIMCO where he managed global portfolios. Jamil has also worked as a Managing Director in the Proprietary Trading Group of Goldman Sachs, as the Chief Investment Strategist of Deutsche Bank and as a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers. Jamil holds degrees from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (‘Diplôme’), the London School of Economics (MSc), the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (SM) and Harvard University (AM, PhD). He also teaches Financial Economics at Oxford University.
