As a Principal in Highland’s Silicon Valley office, Jason spends the majority of his time tracking technology investments across all stages of company growth, and is actively involved with Bromium, Gigamon, Qumulo, vArmour Networks and Violin Memory. He’s particularly interested in security, which is a constantly vibrant space due to the proliferation of the internet, the rise of hackers and the increasingly smart developers that continue to push previously set boundaries. Prior to joining Highland, Jason was at General Atlantic, an $18 billion global private equity firm, where he analyzed and executed investments in the software, virtualization, gaming and mobile sectors. He worked closely with TriNet, Altair Engineering, Critical Path and IPValue to support the corporate development activities of GA portfolio companies.
