He has been active in the healthcare field in Europe and especially in the medical device sector. He has worked for SANOFI as a Managing Director for several operating companies to later join Baxter International where he was in charge of various European Plants and Operations. During the last 10 years he has developed his family holding company founded in 1894 with a significant activity in the automotive industry and real estate in France. The company activity is now focused on healthcare investments, mainly in the medical device and healthcare services sectors. Since 1992 Jean Paul Ortelli has served on the Board of several private and publicly held European Companies, including Tarmac Constructions and Aluvar, and several mid-size companies. Jean Paul Ortelli is a graduate of the Essec Business School in France.
