Mr. Jeffrey C. Ballowe, also known as Jeff, served as an Advisor at Anvato, Inc. and Aktana, Inc. From 1986 to 1998, Mr. Ballowe held various management positions at Ziff-Davis (ZD), including President of the Interactive Media and Development Group. His development activities included spearheading ZD's and Softbank's investments in Yahoo!, USWeb (where he served as a Founding Director), Gamespot, and Herring Communications. Mr. Ballowe retired from Ziff-Davis at the end of 1997, where he was instrumental in transforming ZD from a United States magazine publisher to an international, integrated media company.
