Jeffrey N. Greenblatt is Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Monarch. Over Mr. Greenblatt’s career as an investment manager, he has had the experience of managing portfolios with domestic and international investments in long/short equity, risk arbitrage, pairs trading, private equity, convertible bond and capital structure arbitrage, high yield and distressed securities, emerging markets debt, bank loans and trade claims, and derivative strategies related to the foregoing. Mr Greenblatt founded Monarch and its affiliated entities in 1990. Prior to and while managing Monarch, he was both a Managing Principal and the Director of Investment Research/Portfolio Management at Baker Nye Greenblatt, LLC, one of the first investment management firms to manage the pension and endowment assets of institutions in a hedge fund format.
