Jeremy joined Flagship in 2015 and develops strategic plans for VentureLabs® portfolio companies, works with corporate partners, and creates innovative approaches that will lead to the firm’s next breakthrough startups. Prior to joining Flagship, Jeremy was one of the original scientists at Alexion, where he played an integral role in the engineering and development of Alexion's antibody therapeutics and was one of the original inventors of the drug Soliris. He moved from research to business development, leveraging much of his drug development experience into the review of opportunities for ultra-orphan diseases. Jeremy has led or managed many of the recent deals for Alexion, worth more than $5 billion in deal value. These included the acquisitions of Enobia Pharma, Taligen Therapeutics and Orphatec as well as the partnership with Moderna Therapeutics.
