Jerry Wagreich, the visionary behind iPayed™, is a native-born Hawaiian Pacific Islander minority. His deep technological interests and marketing experience led him in the early 2000s to recognize the deficiencies in the U.S. payment system with respect to financial inclusion for the 63mm+ underserved population and the need for real-time payments and settlements. From his years of study of the U.S. banking and payment systems, he, together with input from regulators, bankers, lawyers, and IT specialists, designed the patented iPayed™ “Closed Loop and Open Loop” real-time ePayment system. He is an inventor and designed, fabricated and built one of the earliest aerial photography, camera gimbal stabilized multi rotor drones. He founded Prestigious Entertainment®, a company that encompasses various aspects of the entertainment industry, including a record label geared towards R&B, Hip Hop, Latin, Dance and Reggae -- genres of music that have many fans who are unbanked and underbanked.
