Mr. Jim Broder is a Managing Director at ECentury Capital Partners. He has been a Partner at the firm since its inception in 1999 and focuses on wireless investments. Mr. Broder has acted as both an Advisor to, and investor in, many private companies, principally in the telecommunications and wireless technology sectors and has appeared on numerous panels focusing on these sectors. Prior to joining ECentury Capital, he spent five years at Rothschild, where he was a Vice President focusing on general corporate finance advice, mergers and acquisitions, and debt and equity financings for both private and public companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Broder worked in commercial and private banking at Banco Real S.A. He serves as a Director of BitWave Semiconductor, and Etenna Corporation. He served as a Director of Magnolia Broadband Inc. Mr. Broder received a B.S. from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland. He lives in Northern Virginia.
