About
Jim received his PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Vermont, completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship at University of New Mexico (UNM) and received an Executive Degree from Stanford University. He was a founding member of Superior MicroPowders, a materials spin-out of UNM, which was acquired by Cabot in 2003. He was the Director Sales and Marketing at Cabot from 2003 to 2006 and in 2006, he co-founded Tred Displays, a company that developed the world’s most reflective display, designed for large-format applications. He is the Inventor/Co-inventor on over 25 patents and has published over 20 papers in leading peer-reviewed publications and multiple international presentations in the fields of displays, printed electronics and energy storage and generation. He also serves as the GM, North America for JNC Corporation, a $3B Japanese Chemical Company.
