Mr. Coulter is a founding partner of TPG. Prior to forming TPG, Mr. Coulter was Vice President of the Robert M. Bass Group, Inc. (now doing business as Keystone, Inc.) in Fort Worth, Texas from 1986 to 1992. From 1986 to 1988, Mr. Coulter was also associated with SPO Partners & Co., an investment firm that focused on public market and private minority investments. From 1982 to 1984, Mr. Coulter was a financial analyst for Lehman Brothers, Kuhn, Loeb Inc. Mr. Coulter received an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He is also a Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College.
