Jim Dreyfous

About

Jim Dreyfous co-founded Pelion Venture Partners in 1986 and has been a managing director since its formation. After more than 25 years, his passion for building companies continues. Dreyfous personifies the Pelion culture and approach—he is active with business founders and directors, experienced in building and developing management teams, and adept at accessing strategic relationships to help companies attract management expertise and capital at every stage of a company's growth. Dreyfous spent his early career in commercial banking, oil and gas production and distribution, private investments and small business management. He serves on the Utah Science, Technology and Research (USTAR) Governing Authority Board, where he was appointed by the governor and state legislature, and a number of portfolio company boards including Adapx, BloXR, Skylight and Venafi. Dreyfous has a BA in economics from Middlebury College.
