Jim founded FTV Capital in 1998 . Education : BS from the University of California at Berkeley. MBA from Harvard University. He is a CPA. Before establishing FTV Capital, Jim served as a Senior Managing Partner at Montgomery Securities where he founded the financial services corporate finance practice, was responsible for more than 200 financial industry transactions and co-founded the Montgomery Financial Fund. Prior to Montgomery, Jim was a member of the corporate planning and development group at Bank of America.
