Jim Koziarz

Jim has been CEO of Rubicon Genomics since December, 2008; prior to that he was Chairman of the Board. Jim has a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Chicago and worked at Abbott Laboratories for 25 years where he held the position of Corporate Vice President of Research and Development for his last 11 years. Jim also served as Business Unit General Manager for two separate units in Abbott Diagnostics. After retiring from Abbott in 2004, Jim has been active in working with start-up companies and currently holds two board positions for other biotech companies.
