Dr. Kang joined The Column Group in 2015. Previously, Dr. Kang worked at FibroGen in the project management of drug discovery and development programs, and prior to that, in corporate strategy. Prior to FibroGen, Dr. Kang investigated inhibition of DNA methylation and chemical induction of immunogenicity in cancer cells in the laboratory of Professor Peter Dervan, completing her PhD at the California Institute of Technology.
