About
Prior to joining Eco-Site, John led brownfields redevelopment work throughout the United States, Canada and Western Europe. John was a partner with Cherokee Investment Partners, a $2 billion private equity fund focused on brownfields reuse. At Cherokee, he led the company’s sustainability, remediation and risk/liability management programs. John has also served in the U.S. EPA Superfund program and has consulted to a number of Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions and real estate developers throughout his 30-year career. He holds an MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Colorado State University. John is a registered Professional Engineer, and serves on the board of the North Carolina Sustainability Center and is an active participant in Urban Land Institute.
