John Palmour

About

One of the original founders of Cree in 1987, John holds a B.S. and Ph.D. in materials science from North Carolina State University, has authored or co-authored more than 266 publications, and is a co-inventor on 46 U.S. patents and 135 corresponding foreign patents in the areas of processing and device designs for silicon carbide (SiC) and gallium nitride (GaN) electronic devices. He serves as Wolfspeed’s Chief Technology Officer.
