John White

John White is the Founder of Calibrate Partners (CML), a London-based hedge fund specialising in European long/short strategies. With over three decades of experience in alternative investments, equities, and fixed income, John has held senior leadership roles across major financial institutions. Before founding CML in 2015, John was a Hedge Fund Manager and Partner at Man GLG, where he spent a decade driving performance and portfolio strategy. He previously led UK Equity Trading and Proprietary Trading at Morgan Stanley and began his career at UBS as an equity and derivatives market maker. John serves on the investment committee of Deep Science Ventures, supporting early-stage, science-led innovation. He holds an Executive MBA from the TRIUM Global Executive MBA programme—conferred jointly by LSE, HEC Paris, and NYU Stern School of Business.
