A co-Founder of Seeq, Jon began his career as a process engineer and software developer for process industries. Prior to Seeq, Jon spent 21 years at OSIsoft where he held leadership roles as VP of Engineering and VP of Marketing. Jon earned his bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering at Northwestern University. The curriculum involved writing computer programs to solve engineering problems, which sparked his interest in software and a goal to engage in the software industry. Jon spent the 10 years following graduation working in the process industries. As a process engineer he worked in a wide range of areas including asset optimization, energy management, advanced control and process equipment design. Software and programming were used extensively to address challenges. In 1992 Jon joined OSIsoft, then called Oil Systems, Inc., as a software developer. OSIsoft offered a unique opportunity to become a professional software developer building products for the process industries.
