About
Prior to joining Five Points Capital in 2002, Jonathan worked with Carousel Capital, a Charlotte, NC based private equity firm, where he invested equity capital and worked closely with the firm’s portfolio companies. Prior to Carousel Capital, he worked for Bowles Hollowell Conner & Co. (BHC), an investment-banking firm specializing in middle-market mergers and acquisitions and private placements. Before BHC, Jonathan worked in New York for JP Morgan Chase Securities in their asset-backed securities and syndicated lending groups. Outside of work, Jonathan serves on the Vestry, Chairs the Pre-School Discovery and Usher Committees at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, led the YMCA Adventure Guides program, and served as a fundraiser for the Bethesda Center for the Homeless. Jonathan received his MBA from The University of Virginia Darden Graduate School of Business, where he received the William Michael Shermet Award, and a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
