Jonathan Maxwell is CEO and Founding Partner of SDCL. He is a specialist in sustainable infrastructure investment. Prior to establishing SDCL, he was at HSBC Infrastructure and managed the first London Stock Exchange listed infrastructure fund IPO in 2006. Jonathan has over 20 years’ experience in international financial markets, involving investment in infrastructure, real estate, private equity and listed securities. Jonathan established SDCL’s institutional investment business, which has created and manages a series of innovative government backed clean energy investment funds and companies in the UK & Ireland, North America and Asia. SDCL has attracted a broad base of institutional investors and has a strong investment track record. Jonathan graduated from Oxford University with a degree in Modern History.
