About
Jorge Fergie (São Paulo) joined KKR in 2013 as head of Brazil and Latin America. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Fergie spent 29 years with McKinsey & Company, working in several offices, including: São Paulo, New York, Dallas, Mexico, Caracas, and Buenos Aires. He left McKinsey as a director emeritus, where he led the private equity efforts in Latin America and was a board member of the McKinsey Investment Office. Previously he had led McKinsey's telecom and media practices in Latin America, where he served many leading Latin American and multinational companies in privatization programs. Mr. Fergie has worked broadly across key industries including natural resources, such as petchem, oil and gas, minerals, pulp and paper, infrastructure, agribusiness and media and health care services. Mr. Fergie holds a M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
