Jose-Maria Blanc, Assistant Treasurer, is a Managing Director for Intel Strategic Investments and member of the Intel Capital Investment Committee for the Americas. He also runs the Icap Portfolio Management Group worldwide. Jose’s responsibilities include reviewing investments proposals, assisting deal structuring and managing Icap portfolio performance. Jose is on the board of directors of Nexplanar Corp. and a board observer in Viewsonic Corp. and Chontel Inc. In 2002 Jose received the Intel Achievement Award for an investment in Nikon and its associated lithography strategic agreement. The IAA is Intel's highest recognition for individual and team achievement. Before joining Intel in 1999, Jose was a general partner at European private equity firm Granville Holdings, a VP Corporate Finance at Merrill Lynch in London and New York and a consultant at McKinsey & Co. in New York.
