Joseph F. Trustey joined Summit Partners in 1992. Prior to Summit, he worked as a consultant with Bain & Co. and served as a Captain in the U.S. Army. Based in Summit’s Boston office, Joe is active in the firm’s investment activities in North America, Europe and Asia. During his 21 years with Summit Partners, Joe has served as a director of many companies including two public companies. He is currently a director of Belkin, Central Security Group, Commercial Defeasance and Tippmann Sports. His prior directorships include Aramsco, B&W Loudspeakers, ISH (acquired by PwC), Keystone RV Company (acquired by Thor Industries), Paragon Vision Sciences, Somero Enterprises (acquired by Dover Corporation), Revere (acquired by Walker Interactive Systems), Suburban Ostomy Supply Company (NASDAQ: SOSC, acquired by Invacare Corporation) and Wilmar Industries (NASDAQ: WLMR). Joe holds a BS in chemical engineering, with Highest Honors, from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard Busin
