Josh Weed is a full-time investor in both private ventures and real estate partnerships. He is a limited partner in several privately-held investments. He is a Partner and Senior Director at Veteran Ventures Capital and a member of the Fund’s investment committee. He also serves annually part-time at the Pentagon in the Air Force Budget Office as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserves. In his corporate career, Josh was a dynamic executive with proven results leading operations, financial, and corporate services organizations in both the public and private sector. From 2012 to 2020, Josh held executive roles with increasing responsibilities within Stewart & Stevenson, a privately-held manufacturer, and distributor of specialized equipment serving the oil & gas, marine, transportation, power generation, and material handling industries.
