With over 30 years in strategic sales management in the telecom and high-tech industries (Artificial Intelligence, software, SaaS, wireless, fibre optic, electronics, communications infrastructure, and industrial markets), Juan Felipe is a Limited Partner at the Montreal-based startup foundry TandemLaunch, an angel investor at several B2B Artificial Intelligence startups, as well as a business mentor at NIU, Andorra Telecom’s startup incubator. Additionally, Juan Felipe is an investor and the Chief Sales Officer at Aerial Technologies, a Canadian AI startup involved in the telecom industry. Previously, he was Senior VP of Global Sales for iBwave where he was a key driver of the company’s growth and ultimately its very successful sale to Corning Inc. in 2015. Prior to joining iBwave, Juan Felipe held executive sales positions at IRphotonics (acquired by Thorlabs Inc.), Averna Technologies (acquired by Tandem Expansion Fund), and EXFO (successful IPO in 2000).
