Jukay Hsu is the Founder of C4Q, which creates pathways out of poverty and fosters the tech ecosystem in the world’s most diverse community. C4Q believes that technology is a powerful vehicle for increasing economic mobility and empowers adults in low-income and diverse communities to gain skills and jobs in tech. After graduating from Harvard College, Jukay served as a U.S. Army officer where he commanded a rifle platoon in Iraq and earned the Bronze Star Medal. Jukay led economic development initiatives and founded the first private provincial radio station with Iraqi reporters. After military service, Jukay returned home and founded C4Q because of technology’s potential to empower people and communities. C4Q's programs increase participant annual income from $18,000 to $85,000 and creates leaders reflective of the diversity of NYC with 50% women, 70% black or hispanic, 50% immigrants, and 50% without a college education.
