Julien Niset

About

Julien is the Chief Science Officer and co-Founder of Argent. He holds a PhD in Physics from Université libre de Bruxelles with a focus on Quantum Information and Quantum Cryptography. In 2010 Julien founded SQR Technologies to build Ultra-Fast Quantum Random Number Generators. In 2015 the company’s IP was successfully acquired by ID Quantique, the world leader in Quantum Cryptography and Quantum security hardware. Julien then joined the technical staff of Silicon Valley startup M2Mi to work on security in IOT. In 2017 he left to found Argent. Julien is the author of three patents: for quantum random number generation, distribution and use in novel cryptographic schemes.
