Jun Otsuka is Managing Director and Co-Founder of Pine Field Capital. Mr. Otsuka has been engaging in investment management and corporate finance business for more than 23 years, including 7 years' investment experience in Asia. Mr. Otsuka joined the Industrial Bank of Japan Ltd. in 1982 and started his career with a focus on investing in both public and private companies. He was the CEO of Mizuho Securities Asia Limited in Hong Kong during 1999-2003, and was responsible for managing a private equity fund investing in Taiwan, Korea and Hong Kong. He then became the Managing Director of Japan Industrial Partners in Japan, a buy-out fund targeting Japanese companies. He holds a degree in Bachelor of Economics from Keio University in Japan, and an MBA from University of Chicago.
