I woke up from a month long coma learning that my fiance was killed in a car accident, and I was permanently disabled. Walking again would require a decade of my life, and most of my parents wealth. During the journey from wheelchair to walker, I resolved to help people navigate life better using lessons that I learned from tragedy.
