Justin Dry is the co-founder and Joint CEO of Vinomofo, a wine deal site built on the motto of “no bowties and bullshit.” Dry, now an established name in the Australian wine community, began his venture into creating a simpler, more accessible wine culture in 2006, in the midst of a Christmas dinner. Having just returned from a six-month trip to South America, Dry had been using the then-new Facebook to communicate with his fellow travelers. He was inspired to create a “Facebook for wine,” and online community that could connect wine lovers with the facility of this emerging social media.
