Kamal is responsible for Mirakl’s growth in North America. Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Kamal brings 18 years of experience in growing sales and business development operations for software companies. Before joining Mirakl, Kamal led the expansion of Workday in Southern Europe, and before that, served as the Vice President for EMEA for TouchCommerce. Prior to TouchCommerce, Kamal set up the continental European offices for Bazaarvoice. Previously, Kamal held various executive management roles at leading technology companies, including Lombardi (acquired by IBM), BetweenMarkets (acquired by Inovis), Motive (acquired by Alcatel) and Trilogy. Kamal began his career in the speech recognition industry at Voice Processing Corporation and Voice Control Systems (now part of Nuance Communications). A Norwegian citizen, Kamal speaks German, French and Norwegian. He has lived and worked in the USA, France, Germany, UK, Norway and Denmark. Kamal holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from
