Kansas City Equity Partners L.C. is a private venture capital management company, which manages KCEP I, L.P., a venture capital fund. These groups, collectively KCEP, were formed to achieve long-term equity appreciation by funding the development of businesses that hold exceptional growth and profit potential. KCEP focuses on companies in the Midwest region. KCEP I, L.P. was licensed as a Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) in September of 1994, as one of the first funds in the country to utilize the Small Business Administration's Participating Securities program. KCEP's total capital is approximately $30 million.
