Karin Hagen-Gierer

Karin Hagen-Gierer joined Sanofi as Chief Procurement Officer in October 2017 and is based in Paris. Prior to joining Sanofi, Karin spent 24 years with Unilever in Switzerland, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Germany and held senior management positions in Finance and Procurement. In her most recent role as Vice President Procurement, Karin successfully led the transformation and acceleration of value delivery of Unilever’s Marketing and Business Services Procurement team. Karin holds Master Degrees in Business Administration (University of Augsburg, Germany) and in Economics (Wayne State University, MI, U.S.A.).
