Keith Cox is the Head of Sponsor and Leveraged Finance at Silicon Valley Bank. He has over 17 years of experience building and growing leveraged lending businesses targeting sponsor-backed transactions in the middle market, both at large financial institutions and smaller specialty lenders. Prior to joining Parthenon in 2017 to launch a credit strategy, Mr. Cox most recently started, managed and headed the Acquisition Finance group for SunTrust’s (NYSE: STI) Commercial Bank, which underwrote and held senior secured loans primarily in sponsor transactions. In this role, Mr. Cox led a team of nine bankers and built a portfolio of over 30 names and $800 million commitments over 2.5 years. Mr. Cox oversaw deal selection, underwriting and portfolio management.
