Ken Cheng has been a hands-on developer, a product development head, a CEO, and an entrepreneur. He is currently a partner of Camvard Ventures (a seed-round investor in IT, AI/ML, and synthetic biology). He was a co-founder and a key developer of several successful US startups (1 IPO, 2 acquisitions), including TaqTik Health (a global medical specialists marketplace), Proximex (a global leader in physical security information management platforms - acquired by ADT North America/Tyco International/Johnson Controls International), NetIQ (a global leader in IT identity, access and security management platforms - IPO, now Attachmate/Micro Focus International), EcoSystems Software (a market leader in management solutions for various database systems - acquired by Compuware/BMC Software).
