Ken Cron is the Chief Executive Officer of Structured Portfolio Management, LLC (SPM), which is a specialist fixed income manager focused on U.S. residential mortgage-backed securities (“MBS”), rates, volatility, and credit. The multi-billion dollar hedge fund is entering its 20th year of business and is based in Stamford, CT. Mr. Cron led the private investment group that bought a major stake in the firm. Ken Cron originally joined SPM in 2007 as the Firm’s President to lead the non-investment aspects of the business. As CEO, he is responsible for the overall management, direction and strategy for SPM. Cron has served on several boards and retains interests in a number of fast-growing, privately-held concerns including his principal role with Structured Portfolio Management, an investment advisory firm. Cron holds a B.A. from the University of Colorado in 1978 and resides in Long Island, New York.
