Ken Smythe has over 20 years of Wall Street experience. Prior to founding Next Round Capital Partners, Ken was a Managing Director at Artist Capital where he led the Private Shares group. He has transacted in over 30 VC backed companies leading deal execution and diligence. He also has an extensive track record investing in early stage companies across sectors including consumer and biotech. He started his career as an analyst at Neuberger Berman and later went on to become President of Duet Asset Management, a $5bln+ Hedge fund, private equity firm headquartered in London. He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and has completed the Value Investing Program at Columbia University.
