Kent L Thomas is the founder of Advanced CFO Solutions, a firm dedicated to providing the accounting for and financial and operational information to small and medium-sized business owners on an outsourced / part-time basis at a fraction of the cost of similar full-time staff. Advanced CFO’s clients have raised over $500 Million in equity, debt and lease financing. Prior to starting Advanced CFO Solutions in 1996, Kent worked as the CEO or CFO/controller of seven companies and started his career with Ernst & Whinney in 1979. Kent has a BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Utah and is a licensed CPA in Utah. Kent has served in a voluntary capacity with many organizations including: Grow Utah Ventures, CEDO, The Wayne Brown Institute, The MountainWest Capital Network, the Utah Association of CPA’s and The Utah World Trade Center Organization. Kent was a founding member of the Olympus Angel Investors and is active in the Utah entrepreneuri
