Kurt Thomanek has been the Managing Director of Salzwelten GmbH since 2007. The number of visitors at that time rose from 320,000 to 500,000, with traffic rising from 5 million to more than 8.5 million euros. Prior to completing his teacher training at PH Salzburg (specializing in mathematics, sports and geometry), Mr. Thomanek studied at the University of Leoben as a plastics engineer. In addition, he acquired the necessary commercial and strategic skills in the form of an extra professional business management training.
